Galeria Melissa is the brand Melissa’s concept store in São Paulo. Its architecture creates a welcoming and totally unexpected space in the middle of a block. The square is a kind of open gallery, which for 10 years received the work of architects, graffiti artists, rockstars and fashion designers. As soon as we received the images, we realized that the different angles from which the photos were shot made evident its 3D vocation. With this perception in mind, we decided that making use of these different angles was the best way to portray this space. To do so, we created illustrations from the photos and eliminated everything that wasn’t essential, substituting these with colors, sometimes entirely and other times only in parts, which generated great visual impact in the end, part of our client’s brief.
